Chickpea Chips

Preparation time: 5 minutes

Baking time: 2 hours, 80 degrees

 

1 cup of fresh chickpeas
1 Tablespoon of olive oil
1 teaspoon of turmeric
1 teaspoon of paprika powder
1 teaspoon of sea salt

  • Soak the chickpeas in a big bowl with lots of water over night
  • Wash off the chickpeas the next morning, place them in a pot covered with water and cook for about 45 minutes until soft
  • Place the soft chickpeas on a oven sheet, sprinkle some olive oil on top (tip: put the olive oil in a spray bottle) as well as the spices
  • Place it into the oven and let it bake for around 2 hours on 80 degrees
  • Stir the chickpeas once or twice in between so that they can bake evenly
