Green Tea Smoothie

1 Cup of pre- brewed green tea
1 Banana
1 hand full of spinach
1 tsp honey
A few Cashew Nuts (optional)
Ice cubes

  • pre- brew the green tea, so that it has time to cool down (remember to let the hot water cool down a little bit after bringing it to boil, otherwise it destroys some of the antioxidants in the green tea)
  • place all ingredients in the blender and enjoy

The Feel- Good Element:
Green tea has powerful beneficial properties for our body and mind. It is energizing, improves brain function, aids in fat loss and provides antioxidants. Spinach is rich in iron, an important mineral, which supports a well- functioning metabolism and energy levels. Banana is known to be a mood booster, with a great source of potassium and magnesium. The combination of ingredients make it the perfect smoothie for a long day where we need to stay concentrated and keep our energy levels up.
